(Redirected from Immigration)
Migration is when a person moves a great distance from their home, usually in search of a better life in the form of school, work or other opportunities. Occasionally migration occurs to escape a terrible disaster, either social or natural. By and large, it is the proletariat who migrates the most. Migration in the era of capitalism and imperialism typically occurs due to the forces of imperialism and colonialism.[1]
