Utuhengal (died c. 2112 BCE) was a king of the Sumerian city of Unug. He defeated the Gutian invaders who had ruled Mesopotamia for 60 years and declared himself the ruler of all of Sumer. However, the city of Urim soon surpassed Unug in power.[1]
