Donald Trump, namesake and figurehead of Trumpism.

Trumpism is a term used to refer to the chauvinistic and nationalistic policies of former US president Donald Trump. It combines a reactionary program with right-wing populism and is more unstable than other factions of the Republican Party such as Ron DeSantis.[1]

Trump's America First slogan is sometimes confused with isolationism, which Trump does not advocate for. America First proposes that the USA should be independent from international treaties and obligations and be able to act unilaterally against the rest of the world.[2]
