- ↑ YouTube channel "about" tab: "The purpose of On the Shoulders of Giants is to provide an alternative and positive perspective of the history belonging to the African diaspora which challenges the negative rhetoric that is commonly told of non-white persons throughout the world. Our past is significant because of the plight we have had to overcome and in some aspects, are still overcoming to be considered human beings. On the Shoulders of Giants understands that it is important to recognize and be aware of the contributions of those before us, especially those of African or Indigenous descent. We intend to bring light to the major accomplishments of the people representing the African Diaspora, and we feel that it is important for the non-white youth of the world to understand the significant impact that people of their culture and other cultures have made to society."
