Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson (born May 16, 1969) is a right-wing Statesian nationalist political commentator who had hosted the Tucker Carlson Tonight show on Fox News since 2016. He recently left Fox News as of April 24, 2023.[1]
Early life
Tucker Carlson was born in a wealthy bourgeois family in California in 1969. His father was the director of a U.S. government agency overseeing Radio Free Europe and his stepmother inherited the fortune of the Swanson Frozen Food company. While in college, Tucker went to Nicaragua to fight for the Contras against the Sandinistas. His college yearbook listed him as a member of racist and homophobic organizations.[2]
Political positions
Carlson opposes labor unions and supports the CIA. He has promoted the Great Replacement conspiracy theory against immigrants and is hostile against China.[2]
