In this server, users can discuss a wide variety of topics including history, current events, theory, and praxis, all from a Marxist-Leninist perspective. There are numerous channels dedicated to the study of specific countries and regions, as well as a number of non-English chatrooms including those for Chinese-speaking users.

Maoists, Hoxhaists, patriotic socialists and other revisionist MLs are all prohibited from joining. The server is moderated by a number of well-known [[Communism|communist]] content creators, including [[BayArea415]] of [[The Comrade Report]] and Iskender of [[ProleWiki|ProleWiki.]] A majority of TB users are members of communist parties, including the Communist Party USA and Communist Party of China, though the server itself is completely independent and not affiliated with any other group or entity.
