The Libyan presidential election was initially scheduled to occur before Feb 2018, but has been repeatedly postponed for the past 3 years for various reasons, mostly due to political turmoil and instability.

The son of the late Libyan president Muammar Gaddafi, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi is running in the upcoming elections, alongside 60+ other candidates.[1] His election would represent a repudiation of the US-backed imperialist coup against the Libyan government, which has resulted in immense misery for the Libyan working class.
