The Summit of the Americas is an international summit meeting that brings together leaders of members of the Organization of American States (OAS)

2022

The Ninth Summit of the Americas is to be held in Los Angeles, USA from Jun 6-10, 2022. The United States did not invite Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua to the summit claiming that they're not "democracies" (as if the USA has any right to make such accusations, itself being a plutocracy.)

The president of Mexico, AMLO, has threatened to skip the summit and send his foreign secretary in his place if Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua are not allowed to join. [1]

Black Alliance for Peace is planning on protesting the summit for similar reasons.[2]
