A worker being squeezed from both sides; low wages and high rent

Rent is Too Damn High is a political slogan popularized the small single-issue party of the same name; the Rent is Too Damn High Party.

The RTDH party ran candidates in New York City in 2005 and 2009 but is no longer active, with its chairperson having moved into the Republican Party for the purpose of continuing to seek elected office.

The motto has outlived the party, and continues to be promoted on Western social media sites.[1][2] This represents the increasing costs of living of the population, and creates an opportunity for socialist education promoting class consciousness and the construction of proletarian organizations.
