Issue 244 of Lalkar

Lalkar is a bi-monthly anti-imperialist newspaper supported by the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist).[1] First published in 1967 (although relaunched in 1979), the paper originally functioned as the newsletter of the Indian Workers Association (Great Britain), and has since its inception aimed to analyse political events from a Marxist-Leninist perspective.[2] It considers itself as aimed at "advanced workers", claiming "if something has to be explained properly it often has to be in the form of a long article, and Marxist evaluation undoubtedly requires a bit of Marxist terminology" - differentiating itself from the CPGB-ML party paper Proletarian.[1]
