Jordan Neely was a homeless Black man who lived in New York City. After his mother's murder in 2007, he struggled with depression.[1]
Murder
On May 1, 2023, a white ex-Marine choked Neely to death on the F train in Manhattan. He held him in a chokehold for 15 minutes, long after Neely stopped struggling.[1]
Response
Police briefly questioned the murderer but never charged him with any crime. Bourgeois media including The New York Post, Newsweek, The New York Daily News, and ABC, supported or justified Neely's murder.[1]
