The Socialism and Liberty Party (Portuguese: Partido Socialismo e Liberdade, PSOL) is a non-marxist left-wing party in Brazil.[1]
This party was founded by dissidents of the Workers' Party.[2]
The PSOL is recognized by the Superior Electoral Court as just one party of number 50,[3] but within this party there are several tendencies that function as parties within the PSOL. It's, however, not a catch-all party, because PSOL has a clear statute.[4]
