Kyle Rittenhouse is a Statesian right-wing extremist who shot three protestors in Kenosha during the 2020 George Floyd protests. Two of the victims died another was injured.
Shooting
On August 25, 2020, Rittenhouse went to Kenosha, Wisconsin, where people were protesting against the police shooting of Jacob Blake.[1]
Trial
Rittenhouse pleaded not guilty for all charges and claimed that he acted in self-defense. Judge Bruce Schroeder banned the prosecution from calling the people who were killed "victims" but allowed the defense to call them "looters" and "arsonists."[2]
