The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO; Chinese: 上海合作组织; Russian: Шанхайская организация сотрудничества) is a political, economic, and security alliance created on 2002 June in Shanghai, China. The original member states were China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. India and Pakistan joined SCO as full members on 9 June 2017.
