Marshall "Eddie" Conway (April 23, 1946 – February 13, 2023) was a political prisoner and member of the Black Panther Party. He joined the Army at age 18 but refused to fight in Vietnam and instead joined the BPP to fight against the imperialist ruling class. The FBI framed Conway in 1970 for the death of a police officer, and he spent 44 years in prison, including six in solitary confinement. After being released in 2014, he joined The Real News Network and participated in anti-racist protests.[1]
