Cornel Ronald West (born June 2, 1953) is a Statesian activist and intellectual who is running for President in 2024 as a member of the Green Party. His campaign is based on three goals: anti-imperialism, democracy, and environmentalism. He seeks to provide free healthcare and education and demilitarize the police.[2] He endorsed the PSL's book Socialist Reconstruction.[3]
