Javier Gerardo Milei (born 22 October 1970) is a far-right Argentine politician and presidential candidate. He seeks to return Argentina to how it was in 1900 and make the U.S. dollar the national currency. His platform includes privatizing healthcare and state-owned companies, ending social spending, and abolishing the central bank. Despite identifying as a libertarian, he wants to strengthen the military and give the police more authority to arrest people.[1]
If Milei becomes president, he will prevent Argentina from joining BRICS. He wants to align with the United States and Israel.[2]
