Ronald Harmon Brown (August 1, 1941 – April 3, 1996) was Secretary of Commerce under the Clinton regime. He promoted NAFTA and corporate infiltration of China and Russia.[1]
Early life
Brown attended Middlebury College and served in the Army in south Korea and West Germany. He worked as a lawyer for Ted Kennedy and François Duvalier.[1]
Political career
In 1989, Brown was elected as head of the Democratic National Committee, which illegally funded Clinton's campaign.[1]
Death
Ron Brown was in riding in a plane that crashed into a mountain near Dubrovnik, Croatia. Brown's body was found almost 40 meters away from the plane with a bullet hole in his head. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Steve Cogswell believed Brown was murdered after the crash and recommended an autopsy, which never occurred.[1]
