J. Sakai

From ProleWiki, the proletarian encyclopedia
More languages

J. Sakai is a communist author best known for writing Settlers: The Mythology of the White Proletariat, which details the nature of settler colonial societies and gives an historical account on the history of white labor movements in the United States and its relation to African-Americans.

Criticism[edit | edit source]

Though Sakai correctly points how the United States is founded on slavery, colonialism, and genocide, he completely rejects the revolutionary potential of the white proletariat and even rejects the existence of a proletariat in the USA.[1]
