The All-Russian Extraordinary Commission, also known as the Cheka or Vecheka, was the first Soviet intelligence agency created by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_of_People's_Commissars_of_the_Russian_Soviet_Federative_Socialist_Republic.+It existed to combat counterrevolution and sabotage.[1]
