Hi, my name is Leah, I'm brazilian and a secretary for the Revolutionary Technical Committee, a very small organization involvolved with fighting against bourgeois oppression by technology and introducing people in technical-scientific spheres to Marx and Engels' works, creating class consciousness in a traditionally reactionary field of endeavour.

1. I found ProleWiki via a recommendation from a close friend who said she tought I'd like it. Ended up reading a few articles and liked them, particularly the article on the Black Panther Party.
I aim to work on articles in the wiki relating to technology.

2. In general, Marxism-Leninism. I believe that estabilishing a dictatorship of the proletariat with express purpose of ending the bourgeoise as a class and advancing humanity to a new historical stage is nescessary to achieve communism, which is the goal of a classless society.

3. Generally agree with them. The principles of democratic guidance and self-criticism are nescessary for any socialist editorial process, and the guidelines of the wiki are no different from what you might find in the editorial guidelines of a socialist newspaper, just adapted to fit an online encyclopedia.

4. China is an counter to US imperialism. I do not believe China is a socialist country, even while under the guidance of the Communist Party of China, mainly because it has not yet started the process of ending its bourgeoise as a class, though a recent shift to the left in its policy may soon change that reality, and China may fully transition to socialism. Only time will tell.

5. Stalin was an important figure, with his biggest contributions being presiding the CPSU in the struggle against fascism. His theoretical contributions are important, and even though I've never fully delved into his works, I can state from what I've read that his works are way more focused on educating the reader while not abstracting away concepts, but in fact adding to them.

6. My perspective on gender is particularly based on Engels' historiography. I believe that gender is a construct mainly created to cement the role of the family as a division of labor between "men" and "women", while also securing aristocratic policies on inheritance. Over time, gender roles will fade away, and eventually our conception of gender will change entirely, certainly into a manner that is less oppressive, though speculating on that, as Engels himself would say, is an exercise in guessing the future. Being trans myself, I fully support the LGBTQ+ community, and marxists should support it in the same way they supported women's liberation - as an evolution in the battle against the social divisions of labor imposed by gender and sexuality.
