George Armstrong Custer (December 5, 1839 – June 25, 1876) was a war criminal who committed genocide against native peoples on behalf of the United States. On November 27, 1868, he attacked unarmed Cheyenne civilians on a reservation at Washita Creek and murdered their leader, Black Kettle.[1]
