Junge Welt (German: Young World), stylised as junge Welt, is the sole major Marxist[1] publication in Germany, ranking as the ninth-largest daily national newspaper. Junge Welt served as the official daily newspaper of the Free German Youth, a prominent communist youth organisation, from its inception in 1947 until the paper was privatised in 1991. Junge Welt was relaunched in 1994.
