Nikolay Gavrilovich Chernyshevsky (24 July 1828 – 29 October 1889) was a Russian revolutionary who criticized both serfdom and capitalism. He exposed the class nature of bourgeois economics. His development of socialism included scientific and revolutionary aspects and approached dialectical materialism.[1]
