The Summit for Democracy is an international meeting of right-wing and imperialist countries hosted by the U.S. State Department. The first summit was held in December 2021 and the second was in March 2023. The U.S. invited many anti-democratic leaders, including Netanyahu of Israel, Duda of Poland, Modi of India, the unelected coup government of Pakistan, and the fascist Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni. It also invited separatists from Taiwan, which the U.S. government has recognized as part of China since 1972, and the NED, a cut-out of the CIA. The Chinese Foreign Ministry condemned the summit for dividing countries according to U.S. interests.[1]
