Adadnārārī III (died 783 BCE) was the king of Assyria from 811 to 783 BCE. He inherited the throne as a young child, and his mother Sammurāmat ruled for the first years of his reign. During his reign, Assyria resumed its invasions of Syria and reconquered Babylonia.[1]
