The Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), also known as MI6, is the imperialist secret police of the United Kingdom and the former British Empire. In 1953, the MI6 and the CIA helped overthrow Iranian prime minister Mohammed Mossadegh and install the autocratic Shah in a bloody coup.[1]
