The Libertarian Party (LP) is a far-right political party in the United States of America. Its party programs include idealistic policies such as unregulated capitalism, cutting social programs, and empowering the petit-bourgeoisie.[1] The ideological line of the Libertarian Party is not unified, with some Libertarians being social conservatives, known as Paleolibertarians, and other Libertarians embracing Georgist economic theory, known as Geolibertarians. However, most members of the party adhere to mainstream Libertarianism, often claiming to be more socially progressive than the Democratic Party, yet more fiscally conservative than the Republican Party.[2]

The Libertarian Party has, in regards to its voting numbers, been one of the biggest third parties in the U.S. government in modern times.[3]
