Juan Manuel Guillermo Contreras Sepúlveda (4 May 1929 – 7 August 2015) was the director of Chile's DINA secret police and a CIA asset from 1974 to 1977. He was responsible for around 1,000 murders as part of the Pinochet regime.[1]
Imprisonment[edit | edit source]
Contreras was sentenced to seven years in prison in 1995 for the murder of Orlando Letelier and Ronni Moffitt.[1]
