It is capable of spreading revolutionary socialist ideas but also has the potential to undermine democratic centralism by violating party unity and discipline.[1] The U.S. government, including the NSA and CIA, use mainstream social media outlets including Facebook,[2] Twitter,[3] and Reddit for mass surveillance.[4]
