The Atlantic Council is a pro-NATO imperialist think tank in the United States. It receives funding from the governments of the United States, Japan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.[1] It has called for regime change against China and supports the right-wing Venezuelan opposition and extremist rebels in Syria.[2]

Former U.S. Secretaries of State Dean Acheson and Christian Herter founded the Atlantic Council in 1961.[1]
Funding[edit | edit source]
The Atlantic Council receives funding from military corporations including Lockheed Martin and Raytheon.[3]
