Starbucks Workers United (SWU) is the union for US coffee chain Starbucks. They have successfully unionized 122 of the 33,833 stores.[1][2]
The successes of the union drive represent a rising trade-union consciousness, as Lenin calls it.[3] For socialists who wish to build a world beyond capitalism, this trade-union consciousness must be heightened to the level of class consciousness.
