Patriotic socialism (abbreviated Patsoc) is an opportunist and revisionist movement that advocates for patriotism within the imperial core. It is distinct from patriotism within anti-imperialist, colonized, and socialist countries.[1] Being a trend that is very particular to the United States of America, "Patriotic Socialists" often have ultranationalist, reactionary, and chauvinistic tendencies.[2]
