l'Unità is an Italian newspaper founded by Antonio Gramsci in 1924, and it was the official periodical of the Italian Communist Party until 1991, when the party was dissolved.

The newspaper ceased publication on 31 July 2014.[1] It resumed publication the following year, but then ceased publication again on June 3, 2017. On April 27, 2023, the newspaper's website became active again and the newspaper began circulation in 16 May 2023.[2]
