Every Man a King is a political slogan popularized by populist Louisiana governor Huey P. Long.

The phrase is associated with the Share our Wealth movement during the Great Depression. The movement avoided explicit characterizations of socialism, but can be seen as adjacent to socialism due to its advocacy of the downward redistribution of wealth.

The autobiography of Huey Long is also entitled Every Man a King.[1]
