Proposals for ProleWiki[edit source]

I'm creating this topic for proposals and suggestions related to ProleWiki, its site structure, etc.

PROPOSAL: Change of slogan.

What is our encyclopedia about? A red-painted copy of Wikipedia? This slogan was used because it was a recognizable sentence, but in my opinion it's currently outdated.

I want to propose a slogan along the lines of "ProleWiki – Against cultural imperialism". Anything but an imitation of Wikipedia's slogan. We are obviously a mirror of Wikipedia, since without Wikipedia, there would be no ProleWiki, so we are recognized as an "alternative Wikipedia" at first. But by promoting a different point of view, we are actively against that Wikipedia's point of view in certain subjects. And we consider these points of view to be the ones promoted by the Western empire.

Do you agree with this change? Do you have another suggestion? Do you like the current slogan? Feel free to leave your thoughts on it.

I agree that we need a new slogan, however I Think that "against cultural imperialism" would be better as a principal rather than a slogan. The phrase "Each one, Teach one" is common in leftist educational spaces; since prolewiki is dedicated to education, I think "ProleWiki- Each one Teach one" would be more appropriate Comrade PrimersophiaXVII (talk) 17:19, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
