Central Military Commission

The Central Military Commission (CMC) is the highest national defense organization in the People's Republic of China. It operates within the Communist Party of China as the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China and as the military branch of the central government as the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China.
