Dallas (Wichita: Ika:khac Ne:harih, meaning "where the white rock is") is a city in northern Texas in the United States.

Among the white colonists who settled the city, some were French utopian socialists.^[1]^[2]

As of 2018, 1 in 5 Dallas children live in poverty.^[3]
