Yuri Ivanovich Nosenko (30 October 1927 – 23 August 2008) was a KGB agent who defected to the United States in the 1960s. After his defection, U.S. authorities imprisoned him for three years. Many CIA agents believed that he was a double agent who remained loyal to the USSR.[1]
