The development of capitalism in Russia. The process of formation of the domestic market for large-scale industry is a work by Vladimir Lenin devoted to the analysis of the economic development of Russia. The book is a study on the economy and social structure of Russia in the last third of the 19th century. The work was written in 1896-1899 during Lenin's exile in Siberia, and was published legally as a separate book at the end of March 1899 in a small St. Petersburg publishing house with a circulation of 2.4 thousand copies. This book established his reputation as a major Marxist theorist.
