History
Zambia was colonized by the British and gained its independence in 1964, becoming a non-aligned country.[1]
AFRICOM
In 2012, former U.S. president George Bush visited Zambia to promote U.S. imperialism.[2]
In April 2022, the U.S. government announced that AFRICOM would open an office in Zambia. Emmanuel Zambawa, Zambia’s former representative for the African Union, tried to block U.S. expansion into Zambia[1]
