In April 2022, Carlos Fermín alongside with Darío Fermín formed the movement Proyecto Reconstrucción nacional (PRN), a right-wing party created with an eye to transform itself into the "only party of the right". He later deleted his posts promoting the PRN on Facebook and Twitter.[1][2][3]
