The Islamic State, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), Daesh, or the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), is a far-right Sunni Islam fundamentalist group in Western Asia. It is funded by Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.[1]

U.S. support

Donald Trump murdered two of the most important leaders fighting against the Islamic State: Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.[2]

In June 2021, Trump's successor Biden bombed facilities in Iraq and Syria used by Hezbollah, which was responsible for defeating ISIS.[3]
