Psychiatry in socialist states still operate on the same basis as in bourgeois state. It is based on curing mental disorders through "treatments". (This is still unscientific, for the reasons summarized nicely by this reddit post.)
Anyway, that wasn't the original reason I made that change; the reason is that Psychiatry is still treated like a medicinal field in proletarian states, not just bourgeois states. - Comrade Amicchan (talk) 02:27, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
