Greta Tintin Eleonora Ernman Thunberg (born 3 January 2003) is a Swedish climate and political activist. In her teens she became known for challenging world leaders to take immediate action against climate change. Intitally a darling of bourgeois media, her refusal to be coopted led media attention on her to lessen as she became increasingly more radical and critical of capitalism and imperialism. Most recently she has been a vocal activist for Palestine and has taken part in attempts to deliver aid to the victims of the Palestinian genocide.[1]
