He co-founded Oracle with CIA backing and served as Oracle's CEO from 1977 to 2014 and is now its CTO and executive chair. He owns major stakes in many major companies including Paramount which is currently bidding to gain control over Warner Bros. and played a major role in the takeover of TikTok's U.S. assets.[1]
Ellison wields large influence over the governments of the U.S. and UK, and is also a major supporter of Israel. Ellison is the largest recorded donor to the Friends of the Israel Defence Forces and reportedly, offered Benjamin Netanyahu a position on the board of directors of Oracle, as well as clamped down on any support for Palestine in all media outlets he owns.
