Korean War[edit | edit source]
In 1950, Mao Anying joined the People's Volunteer Army during the breakout of the Korean War to aid the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Mao Anying served as a Russian language interpreter and secretary at the Headquarters of the PVA.[1]
