Thomas Woodrow Wilson (December 28, 1856 – February 3, 1924) was the 28th President of the United States from 1913 to 1921. He supported self-determination for the nations of the former Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman empires but rejected it for the rest of the world and oversaw invasions of Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Russia.
