We now have an onboarding page for new editors! This will help our new editors get up to speed on how ProleWiki works and what they can do once their account is approved. We have also clarified the basis of the Comrade role, which allows editors to create new pages and upload pictures -- it will all soon be renamed to Trusted Editor on both the wiki and discord server.
- 3 May 2023
We have officially deployed our new hosting plan. We now have twice the server resources as well as twice the storage space. You can see our finances at any time on this page.
- 1 March 2023
We have adopted a new default theme, the Citizen skin, for the wiki. If you would like to change your default skin to another, go into your Preferences.
- 24 February 2023
We have started and achieved a fundraiser to pay for our new hosting plan! In total, we raised 528 USD.
- 5 February 2023
We have started a book club on our Discord server! The book club meets once a week in voice chat.
- 2 August 2022
Russian ProleWiki began development. Thank you for your work, comrade Chayleaf!

We adopted a new, more simplified, but recognizable logo. Compare the old version with the new one!

We have adopted a new main page style, adapted to both mobile and desktop users
- 8 June 2021.
We have added a Featured article section in the main page.

We now have a notification feature which should make communication inside our wiki much easier.
- 20 November 2020.
Our comrade Jucheguevara has provided all financial support to upgrade ProleWiki's servers to a VPS for one year. This means we'll be quickly having full support for internationalization and additional features, possibly in less than a month. Our appreciation to comrade Jucheguevara! To see current and past financial movements of ProleWiki, check our donation page.
- 18 November 2020.
(OUTDATED) We have a draft of ProleWiki's main policies related to governance and editorial conventions. These documents are always up to discussion, and all comrades are free to contribute to its development.
- 17 November 2020.
- ProleWiki now has a centralized webpage: https://prolewiki.org. This will make translations much easier in the future,[1] but it also means you should refrain from translating anything at the moment, since we would probably need a lot of work to transfer articles later. See the Lemmygrad post for more information.
- We had to restrict creating and editing articles for anonymous and new users because of spamming. Contact us at our community in Lemmygrad, and we'll quickly unrestrict your access. Check out the Lemmygrad post about it.
- ↑ This was, in reality, a very bad idea. We use a different system for translation now.
- 15 November 2020.
We now have a section dedicated to original content. UPDATE:2020/11/19, it's the Essays section now. Here's the historical Lemmygrad post about it.
- 5 November 2020.
We announced our library, which has been growing steadily ever since. Check out the Lemmygrad post about it.
