ProleWiki:Governance

This page is for listing our comrades who are currently managing our wiki development, as well as those who have skills who can be useful for future site administration. If you'd like to contribute to development, you can add yourself as a candidate in the discussion page.

Active administrators

Since the project is still small, current administrators are elected through a martial meritocratic system. If you're usually active and has shown an interest in the development of the project selflessly, you'll be eventually able to contribute with administrative work, if you wish.

• Comrade Forte - slightly technical user, makes prolific edits, conceived and created ProleWiki in 2020
• CriticalResist - non-technical user, has helped us administer the Discord server, trusted contributor from Lemmygrad
• MxAsh - technical user, helped with hosting and database management, trusted contributor

• Domain registrar: Namecheap

Right now, site uptime relies on the skills of our technical contributors. In the future, we'd like to explore tech stacks which can improve our resilience if any of our technical contributors were unable to fulfill their roles for whatever reason. Suggestions about how to achieve this are welcomed in the discussion page as well.

• Book CSS - if you've got suggestions on how we can improve our CSS for the Books in our Library pages, please add it to the CSS talk page

Development roadmap

• Development of the Citizen Skin (here's an example of the skin being used)
• Add Site backup page to encourage users to download backups themselves in the unfortunate event that ProleWiki is somehow taken down
• Find a way to populate lists with various data parameters using WikiBase
